Classic Annapurna Circuit
‘Modern Maturity’, America’s largest circulated magazine termed this trek as – ‘one of the 12 Best Walks in the World’.
In terms of diversity of terrain, mountain views and Himalayan culture, this is a perfect trek in the very popular Annapurna Area.
Starting with a drive from Kathmandu to Dumre, this classic trek offers variety un-encountered on other treks. Beginning from a low elevation and climbing up to the Thorung La pass (5,398m), one of the highest mountain pass in the world, we trek through terraced fields, Tibetan plateau-like landscapes and subtropical flora, all linked by historical trade routes, passing through interesting trading villages. Eventually after completing Thorlang La Pass we enter Kagbeni, Gateway to Upper Mustang, located in the Kali Gandaki Valley, the deepest gorge in the world. On no other treks can you enjoy such magnificent views of the Himalayan ranges. The trek ends at Pokhara to complete a truly classic journey. No wonder we have repeaters coming back to do the same trek.
