Kanchanjunga is the third highest mountain in the world at 8598 m and the most challenging peaks to climb. Situated Nepal and Sikkim border, it offers some of the world's most exciting trekking off the beaten track to the remote northeast Nepal and the land of the ancient Lomi race. Trekking to the remote north or south base camps requires a fully organized camping trek with all meals cooked by our trained Sherpa cooks.

From the base Camp at Pang Pema we admire the beauty of the Huge North Face of Kanchenjunga. The latter half of the trek traverses the southern side of the mountain via Mirgin La Pass (4663m). The view of Pyramid Peak, Jannu and the South face of Kanchenjunga(8586m) is spectacular. The trek also highlights the cultural of the remote villages dominated by the ethnical tribes including Rai, Limbu and Sherpas. Kanchenjunga National Park, the home to elusive snow Leopardis a paradise for wildlife lovers as well.

We will be staying in a 3-star to 5-star (on additional cost) hotel in Kathmandu and Biratnagar and in tented camps during the trek. All accommodations will be on twin-shared basis. Single supplement can be served on as per the preference of the traveler on an additional single supplement cost that may vary according to the group size and category of hotel you choose to stay in. However it might be difficult to set up a separate single tent at higher elevations and we need to consider the conditions.


You can enjoy typical Nepalese cuisine throughout the trip. However, all types of international cuisines (Tibetan, Continental, Italian, Indian, etc.) can also be arranged as per your requirement. During the trek our best and experienced cooks among the group will be preparing healthy and hygienic food for the whole team. We will be serving you three meals a day. A farewell dinner will be organized in Kathmandu at the end of the trip.

  • On arrival at Kathmandu you will be transferred to your respective hotels. All transfers for sightseeing inside the valley will be arranged on the agency's private car. We will be either catching up a flight up to Biratnagar. Depending upon the availability we will be either flying to Surkhet or drive form Biratnagar to Phidim.

    Ultralight Flight
    The Ultralight Aircraft offers you a soaring experience through the most beautiful scenery on earth. The BIMAN-1 is a two-seater (passenger and pilot) ultra-light craft capable of a speed of 50 to 130 km per hour. This is a combination of an adventure trip and a journey through nature giving you birds'-eye views of the snow peaks, clear blue lakes, deep gorges and forests of Pokhara. The flights operates from Pokhara airport beginning from September through June. The flight takes place from sunrise to 11 a.m. and from 3 p.m. to sunset every day during these months. Packages offered: 1. The fun flight (15 minutes): This flight takes you over Pokhara city, Phewa lake, near Sarangkot hill, over the Buddha Monastery and to the south side of the city. This short flight will give you a panoramic view of the whole Annapurna range, with a view of another 8000m peak- Dhaulagiri, in the distance. A great way to see Pokhara for those with limited time. 2. Pokhara-A birds' eye view (30 minutes): This fight gives you a wider view of one of the most beautiful cities of Nepal from higher up. You will fly over the Tibetan Refugee camp and further on to Lamachaur, on the northern part of the Valley. The view is awesome. The mighty Annapurna ranges (over 8000 m) and the Fishtail Mountain seen from above is simply unbelievable. 3. Sky Trek (1 hour): If you have trekked around Nepal, this will complement the trip. This flight takes you over Pokhara city, Phewa lake, Sarangkot hill, over the Buddhist Monastery, the Tibetan Refugee Camp and past Lamachaur to the north. Flying at an altitude of 9,000 ft above sea level, you will fly close to the Fishtail Mountain, and over the hidden Seti Valley. This is one flight you will not regret making as you will go back with memories of glorious views.
