This trip takes you to the ancient cities and townships steeped with history and tales of spiritual Gurus. The drives are long but pleasant and filled with colorful landscapes, which seem to keep changing with daylight. Visit to the monasteries involve walking through numerous chapels and meditation room filled with relics. Religion in Tibet is not a matter of occasional ritual but an integral part of everyday life in Tibet. Visits to Buddhist monasteries and temples are an important part of any journey to Tibet. Travelers are likely to encounter Buddhist monks and nomads with yak caravans and sheep on its immense plains.

DAY 01: Fly Kathmandu to Lhasa [3660m / 12008ft]

Day 03: Sightseeing in Lhasa (Norbulingka Palace and Jhorkhang)

Day 04: Lhasa to Gyantse (3,950m/12,956ft) via Karo La Pass and YamdrokTso Lake: 261km

Day 05: Gyantse to Shigatse (3,900m/12,795ft) via Shalu Monastery

Day 06: Drive Shigatse (3,900m/12,795ft) to Lhasa

Day 07: Departure flight from Lhasa.

Accomodation

We will be staying in 3 to 5 stars (on additional cost) hotels approved by the tourism council of Tibet. All accommodations are on twin shared basis. However single supplement can be served as per the preference of the traveler.
Note: Single supplement are not included in the trip cost and differs according to the group size and category of hotel you choose to stay in.


Meals

The trip cost includes only Breakfast which will be served at the hotel you will be staying in. Lunches and dinners are on your own. We recommend our guest(s) to budget US$10 to US$18 for lunch and dinner every day. Basically you can expect like Tibetan bread, dal (lentil soup), bhat (rice), tsampa porridge and other simple local foods.

    Ultralight Flight
    The Ultralight Aircraft offers you a soaring experience through the most beautiful scenery on earth. The BIMAN-1 is a two-seater (passenger and pilot) ultra-light craft capable of a speed of 50 to 130 km per hour. This is a combination of an adventure trip and a journey through nature giving you birds'-eye views of the snow peaks, clear blue lakes, deep gorges and forests of Pokhara. The flights operates from Pokhara airport beginning from September through June. The flight takes place from sunrise to 11 a.m. and from 3 p.m. to sunset every day during these months. Packages offered: 1. The fun flight (15 minutes): This flight takes you over Pokhara city, Phewa lake, near Sarangkot hill, over the Buddha Monastery and to the south side of the city. This short flight will give you a panoramic view of the whole Annapurna range, with a view of another 8000m peak- Dhaulagiri, in the distance. A great way to see Pokhara for those with limited time. 2. Pokhara-A birds' eye view (30 minutes): This fight gives you a wider view of one of the most beautiful cities of Nepal from higher up. You will fly over the Tibetan Refugee camp and further on to Lamachaur, on the northern part of the Valley. The view is awesome. The mighty Annapurna ranges (over 8000 m) and the Fishtail Mountain seen from above is simply unbelievable. 3. Sky Trek (1 hour): If you have trekked around Nepal, this will complement the trip. This flight takes you over Pokhara city, Phewa lake, Sarangkot hill, over the Buddhist Monastery, the Tibetan Refugee Camp and past Lamachaur to the north. Flying at an altitude of 9,000 ft above sea level, you will fly close to the Fishtail Mountain, and over the hidden Seti Valley. This is one flight you will not regret making as you will go back with memories of glorious views.
