Druk Path Trek is one of the most popular treks in Bhutan. The trek begins from Paro Ta Dzong and ends by descending into Motithang area above Thimphu. Bhutan is perhaps the only country where you can trek from the airport (Paro) to the country's capital (Thimphu). The trail is scenic and passes by some of the lakes in the mountains.

Day 01: Arrive Paro International Airport by Druk Air

Day 02: Paro - Sightseeing

Day 03 Paro: Excursion to Taktsang

Day 04: Paro - Jele Dzong [3,480m/11,415ft]

Day 05: Jele Dzong - Jangchulakha [2879m / 9446ft.]

Day 06: Jangchulakha - Jimilangtso

Day 07: Jimilangtso - Simkota Distance [3,485 m / 11433ft]

Day 08: Simkota - Phajoding [2,879m / 9445ft]

Day 09: Phajoding - Thimpu[2,439m / 8002ft]

Day 10: Thimphu - Sightseeing

Day 11: Thimphu - Excursion to Punakha/Wangdi

Day 12: Thimphu - Paro International Airport


Bhutan offers a broad array of accommodation ranging from deluxe 5-stars to cozy guest houses and traditional style home stays. We will be staying in 3 to 5 star hotels approved by the tourism council of Bhutan. All accommodations are on twin shared basis. However single supplement can be served as per the preference of the traveler.
Note: Single supplement are not included in the trip cost and differs according to the group size and category of hotel you choose to stay in.


We serve you three meals a day during your stay in Bhutan. You can enjoy typical Bhutanese cuisine throughout the trip. Varieties of food including Chinese, Indian, Tibetan, Italian and continental are also available in most parts of Bhutan. Red rice is very popular in Bhutan which is generally eaten with vegetables or meat (pork, beef, chicken, etc.).
